At Our Family Doctor we try to take the headache out of dealing with insurance. We are always looking for ways to make things easier for our patients, so if you have any suggestions, please let us know.

During your appointment with Our Family Doctor, any co-pay (or co-insurance) is due at the time of service. We will gladly bill your insurance company for the remainder of the charges associated with your visit. Please be aware that there may be an additional balance even after your insurance payment due to your deductible and/or any non-covered services. If so, our Billing Supervisor will notify you, and the additional charges will need to be paid within 30 days of receipt of your bill.

Our Family Doctor currently participates with the following third party insurance plans:

  • Blue Cross Blue Shield
  • Aetna
  • Cigna
  • Crescent Health Pans
  • Medcost
  • Medicaid (pediatric only)
  • Medicare / Medicare Advantage
  • Primary Physician Care
  • United Health Care
  • WellPath / Coventry

All other insurances can be billed after payment in full by the patient. Any amounts paid by those companies to Our Family Doctor will go directly to the patient. Keep in mind deductibles, and co-insurances may be higher for out of network providers.
