Emily Diznoff, MD

Dr. Diznoff is passionate about her work as a family physician, deeply valuing her relationships with patients. With an emphasis on health, wellness, fitness, and nutrition, she works together with her patients toward healthy lifestyles. She is honored that patients allow her to be part of their lives.
After completing medical school at Emory University in 2001, Dr. Diznoff moved to Asheville with her husband to complete her residency at Mountain Area Health Education Center. She has been practicing medicine locally for 15 years and is excited to join the Our Family Doctor team in January 2019.
Dr. Diznoff stays extremely busy with her two boys, River and Finn, who are involved in a wide range of sports and activities. She and her husband also operate a non-profit, Barefoot Farm, which grows organic produce for nutrition programs and families in need.
When not working, she can be found exercising, working in the garden, and spending time with her menagerie of goats, dogs, chickens, cats, and bees.
