Anne Irvine, MD

Dr. Anne Irvine chose family medicine because she loves working with patients of all ages and because she  believes that the best medicine serves not only the person in front of her, but their family and community as well. Dr. Irvine emphasizes a whole person approach to maintaining and restoring health that takes into account each patient’s goals, family history, and traditions.  She learned the value of family and community in a person’s health while in medical school at the Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara in Guadalajara, México as well as in her family medicine residency training at Natividad Medical Center in Salinas, California. She has a lot of stories from these adventures, and would love to share them with you in English or Español.

Dr. Irvine left Asheville 11 years ago with the hopes of returning to work as a family doctor in her community, and is thrilled to finally be back with her family in tow.  Outside of work, Dr. Irvine enjoys playing tag with her young children (and winning while she still can), sharing meals and laughter with loved ones, strength training, climbing, and soaking up the gorgeousness of WNC. (Currently not accepting new patients)
