She has had the opportunity to work with Indian Health Services in Arizona and in a community health setting in Washington. Prior to joining OFD, she worked in Boone, NC serving mostly geriatric patients. Dr. Preston’s special medical interests include newborn care, women’s health, preventative medicine and international medicine. She has worked in clinics in Latin American and Africa and hopes to be able to continue her relationship with these communities. Dr. Preston supports patients who choose to include alternative modalities in their health care plans. Besides a passion for medicine, Dr. Preston enjoys gardening, travel, dancing, cycling and spending time outdoors.
